“The Chrysalis” : My participation in the collective exhibition of “the 39-th market of weavers” / Communal castle of Varaignes. The topic is “The Cocoon”
“The chrysalis”: It is the image of a woman who is constrained, stifled in silence, locked in on herself. “The chrysalis” is this small imaginary world that she created in ther isolation …. The cocoon is the shelter that protects her from the outside when she is afraid . However, she keeps always looking for a certain connectivity and search a link with the other symbolizes a thread to go out of her isolation … The red thread, an intangible thread of destiny, which connects this cocoon to the outer ball, is like a spiritual link between her and certain kinds of people. Such a link of spirit is like a source of fulfillment, it transmits a magic energy, a “Great Happiness”, … that is hard to reach.

“Resources” , a collective exhibition of 5 artists at the gallery « 361 degrees contemporary art space » / Aix En Provence.
The general idea of my artworks: “My body becomes a thread that draws in my outer space and my interiority. Veiled / Unveiled is a situation of internal conflict, a tug between a feeling of curiosity, and that of prudence. My feeling of inner revolt – which I had to express – is a moment of full consciousness, it crystallizes in the actions that I needed to do at certain moments of my life. This experience of contiguity actually comes from the continuity of the thread. In this internal and fusional space, I experience my body in relation to the continuous thread and it often takes on an imaginary dimension, to which is added an external real space, that of the representation and the distancing in the physical world of my work. A form of verticality is established then but going from “me to me”, circular and yet connected to me, between my mind and my heart but there is still a form of horizontality, as a form of dialogue towards others, towards the surrounding world. My image of “seeing through the cocoon” is an unveiling, it symbolizes the idea of opening to another space, as a sort of entry with memory, towards the idea of transcendence and escape to a new world. ”

My collective participation at the “7th Arts Fair / Saint Croix Volvestre”.
5th prize of the jury in the category “Sculpture / Engraving” for all my sculpted artworks.
The general idea of my artworks is: “The passage from soul and spirit to a more spiritual world…the evasion of the material to an immaterial beyond…a transcendence to words the cosmos …a liberating appeal at once remote and contiguous with myself …a paradoxical journey between the real and the virtual …”
